Stamp 'N Hop April Blog Hop
Hi! And welcome to this month's Stamp 'N Hop International Blog Hop! This has been one excited month! As a demonstrator, you get early access to the NEW catalog that launches in June! Unfortunately we have to say "good-bye" to some of our favorites, but we also get to be excited because some of our favorites get to carry over for another year. So with all the excitement, this month's theme is Annual Catalog Favorites - fitting right?
Naturally you don't have just one favorite in the catalog because they're pretty amazing, so I had a hard time choosing which one was my favorite. So I picked two stamp sets that I've loved since I saw them and just knew they had to go together. I chose to make a card I called "Country Livin' Floral Boots", and here's why:
The very first two stamp sets I fell in love with when I became a Demonstrator in February 2017 was Jars of Love and Country Livin'. They fit my style to a tee and I just had to have them! I actually ordered them as part of my starter kit I loved them that much! This card was so simple to make too! I stamped my flowers on pieces of scrap Whisper White paper and cut them out with my Big Shot. Then I stamped my boots from Country Livin' on the card front. I "filled" my boots with the flowers I cut out (I actually cut out way more than I needed so I just saved them to have for another card). Paired all of that with pearls and a retired greeting (Cottage Greetings) on Soft Suede and Very Vanilla cardstock and TADA! Super cute, rustic birthday card is done!
