NC Demo January Blog Hop - Sale-A-Bration!

Hi!  And welcome to this month’s NC Demos Blog Hop that is all about Sale-A-Bration - AKA my favorite time of the Stampin' Up! year!  Sale-A-Bration is the amazing time of year from January 3-March 31 where Stampin' Up! offers free stamp sets, design series paper, ribbons and more for FREE with all orders $50 (USD) or more! They also offer amazing extra incentives for those of you looking to sign up to be a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator! If you want to learn more just click this link and you can read what all we have to offer. And if you still have questions, shoot me an email!

Anyway... Back to what you're here for today!

Today I chose to feature the Heartfelt Blooms stamp that is free with a $50 (USD) purchase or more! I chose this one because it's simply gorgeous and it flowed well with my "all things rustic" touch I seem to always gear myself towards. It took me maybe an hour from start to finish to complete these 3 cards! It doesn't get much quicker than that! The stamp set comes with three different sentiments, so making this about a trio of cards was an easy decision.

Here's a closer look at each card and the measurements and colors use.

This card took the longest to make because of the scalloped edges and having to make sure the measurements were just right, but it's my "elegant" card of the bunch with the Gold Glimmer Paper and the Gold Embossing Powder.
Card Front
Night of Navy Base (A2)
Whisper White (5" wide)
Gold Glimmer Paper (5" wide)
Note that the Whisper White and Gold Glimmer papers should total 3.5" wide. I scalloped my edges, lined them up then cut the paper to size. But don't adhere them permanently together yet. You need to stamp the Whisper White before doing so.
Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon
Heat Tool
Versamark
Gold Stampin' Embossing Powder
Inside
Whisper White (5.25" x 4")

For this card I used:
Card Front:
Crumb Cake Base (A2) I stamped the sentiment on the base in random places with Crumb Cake Ink
Night of Navy Layer (4.25" x 3.25")
Wood Textures DSP (I used the white wash sheet cut to 4" x 3")
2" Circle Punch
Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon
Inside
Whisper White (5.25" x 4")

And last but not least:
Card Front
Night of Navy Base (4.25" x 5.5") I embossed the whole card front with Softly Falling Embossing Folder
Wood Texture DSP (4" x 3")
Calypso Coral ink
Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon
Inside
Whisper White (5.25" x 4") I off stamped the corners of the inside with Calypso Coral
